These are the industrial emissions web pages for the London Borough of Hillingdon. Industries with the potential to cause pollution are regulated by a system of permits and inspections.

Information about each of the regulated processes can be accessed by clicking on the dots on the map page. If you know the name of the process you are interested in but can't find it on the map you can select a process by name from the drop down list below the map.

Documents about each process can be downloaded so you can read them.

Use your mouse and keyboard to select wanted items from drop down lists or tables and then press buttons to get what you want.

You can use the site map to see which pages are available. You can look at various sections to explain what terms like 'permit' and 'risk assessment' mean or to find out more about government guidance or the Legislation.

You can often click on images or words that have been highlighted in brown to do things - try it and see what happens. There are a number of menu links at the top of every page. If you get lost, use one of these or click on 'home' go back to the home page and start again.
